Services Overview and Important Disclosures
Trustmark Estate Settlement Company, LLC provides estate settlement support services designed to help families and heirs organize, understand, and navigate the administrative and practical aspects of estate settlement following the passing of a property owner.
Every estate is different. While we do not provide legal, tax, or financial advice, we typically assist families by helping evaluate and organize information related to:
- Estate complexity and general timeline expectations
- Ownership status and equitable interest considerations
- Property-related obligations such as taxes, liens, and code violations
- Family coordination and decision-making needs
- Identifying when professional legal or tax guidance may be necessary
Our Services are informational and administrative in nature and are intended to support informed decision-making, not to replace licensed professional advice.
No Legal Advice; No Attorney-Client Relationship
Trustmark is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. Nothing on the Site or provided through our Services should be interpreted as legal advice or as a substitute for advice from a licensed attorney.
Your use of the Site or Services does not create an attorney-client relationship between you and Trustmark. While we may help identify situations where legal guidance may be appropriate, any legal decisions or actions should be made in consultation with a licensed attorney of your choosing.
No Tax or Financial Advice
Trustmark does not provide tax, accounting, or financial advice. Any information we provide related to taxes, financial obligations, or property-related costs is general and informational only.
We may help identify property-related obligations such as taxes or liens, but we do not advise on tax strategies, filings, valuations, or financial planning. You should consult a licensed tax professional, accountant, or financial advisor for guidance specific to your situation.
No Guarantee of Outcome
Estate settlement matters can vary widely based on legal requirements, family dynamics, property conditions, and other factors outside of Trustmark’s control.
We do not guarantee any specific outcome, timeline, resolution, or financial result. Any timelines discussed are estimates only and should not be relied upon as guarantees.
