No, if you are not close to our office, we can help you receive $$ through a local attorney or notary near you. We try to help Heirs have options, we value your time.
From the first contact with a potential heir to an estate – it takes 1–2 days to validate you are a “right-ful” heir. At that time typically you receive a partial payment from the estate when you sign documents acknowledging you are receiving assets from an estate. And after other heirs are also confirming the heirship affidavits, usually a week or two, then the balance will be paid out.
You would sign an heirship affidavit confirming information about you being an heir and receipts from receiving money or physical things from the estate.
